Relationships and restitution

My journey has led me to the realisation that my personal and professional life is driven by two elements: relationships and restitution.

The ‘legal’ nature

I was born a lawyer: I am the fourth generation of my family. From my great-grandfather Maggiorino in 1902, through my grandfather Cesare and my father Pier Luigi, I decided to follow in the footsteps of the legal world.

This was the first encounter, unconsciously, with the theme of relationships and restitution: my father gave me back what he derived from his family relationships.

2009 was the year I got to know BNI through which I grew as a professional and began to understand the importance of being an entrepreneur also as a professional.

In 2010, I meet the world of ADR mediation, following the path to become a civil and commercial mediator and I start with an experience in one of the first organisations created. In 2017 I meet Lucia Di Palermo, whom I met thanks to the BNI network and the BNI lawyers’ association, NLTI. In fact, I sign a blank cheque, offering to follow the Turin office of the nascent organisation DPL Mediazione & Co. S.r.l.

DPL was founded in May 2018, the  Turin office opened in September. I open the Ivrea office in 2021 and, on 1 October 2023, I take over responsibility for the Cuneo office.
Since 1st January 2025 I changed ADR organism, beginning a new parthership with ADR Intesa in Turin and Ivrea.

In 2018, during one of my evolutionary training courses, I realised that the vision as a lawyer had disappeared and that my main goal was to help others with relationships.

From that moment, I decide to gradually let go clients and the legal profession in the traditional sense (advice and trials) to focus on helping people with their relationships.

Restitution

I understand that my choices are driven by giving back to the world those paths and situations that have changed my life.

I trained as a mediator to understand how to accompany clients and then decided to do it as a profession to help people benefit from it.

I became a BNI Director to help my contacts learn about a world that has profoundly changed me and allowed me to evolve.

I became a trainer and coach, and I continue to train to improve myself on this path, because training and coaching have made me a better and more aware person, and I yearn for others to find in themselves the improvement and awareness that will allow them to live their lives with greater serenity and satisfaction.

 

Relationships

Relationships are one of the essential values, along with time, of everyone’s life.

Being able to rely on relationships, to be able to build our relationships effectively, to be able to read when a relationship is not aligned with our values or needs to be let go, is essential for us to be able to live serenely.

Through training and coaching, I help people build their personal or professional relationships; through mediation, I help people rebuild relationships.

The evolutionary route: the 'legal' part of my training

I started training because I was aware that it was the best way for me to train.

In 2010, I became a trainer for the Turin Bar Association in the Telematic Civil Process; from 2012 to 2022, I worked as a trainer for APE Torino Confedilizia, in courses for condominium administrators – on condominium law and civil and commercial mediation.

I am a practical and theoretical trainer for civil and commercial mediation courses.

The evolutionary route: referral marketing

As BNI Assistant Director since 2010 I support the BNI Musiné, BNI La Mole, BNI Muncalé and BNI Tribus chapters of the Region BNI Turin South West. Since 2017 I have been a trainer for the Region and in 2019-2020 I held the position of Training Classroom Manager. The training is a support for members on referential and strategic relationship marketing topics. The aim is to provide practical tools for building business relationships. It starts with defining objectives and the target market. We then work on contact engagement and effective communication.

In addition, we train chapter leadership teams to help them lead their chapters. We work on team management with the division and coordination of roles, and the definition of objectives. We move on to defining the actions to be put in place, how to communicate from the management team to the rest of the chapter, and conflict management.

Since 2025, I have been a member of the National Training Team of BNI Italy, providing support and training to BNI Directors.

From 2017 to 2020, I collaborated with Asentiv Italia as Community Manager and Trainer supporting professionals and entrepreneurs with personal evolution paths (vision, mission, target market) – behavioural styles, strategic relationship marketing (building business relationships, target market, goal definition, contact engagement, effective communication)

The evolutionary route: Training & Coaching

In 2021 I realise that it is time to get involved to make a difference in changing people’s lives by creating my own evolutionary paths (vision, mission, target market), conflict management, time management, behavioural styles with the DISC program, strategic relationship marketing.

In this new phase I also realise that the first of relationships is the one with oneself and that if each of us does not become aware of this, a disharmonious relationship with oneself creates disharmony in every other relationship.

This awareness stems from my coaching path that leads me to certify myself so that I can once again give back to others what I have received as a gift!

Relationships and restitution are still my guide today through my Core Values!
