Dealmaker and Dealbreaker: a practical guide to choosing the right people in your life
Training means enriching oneself, expanding one’s knowledge and acquiring new skills, in order to constantly improve one’s work: an activity that can only bring advantages and benefits for oneself and others.

Training means enriching oneself, expanding one’s knowledge and acquiring new skills, in order to constantly improve one’s work: an activity that can only bring advantages and benefits for oneself and for others.
But that’s not all: training is also a relationship, because it implies a relationship between coach and trainee on the one hand and between the individual and the work team on the other. And relationships are a fundamental aspect in the life of every human being, just think of our everyday life, which is full of different kinds of relationships, from the more lasting ones, such as those established within the family or at work, to the more occasional ones, such as going shopping or having a chat with a stranger on a public transport.
Relating is therefore indispensable for every person, and relationships also play a very important role in training program, where the enrichment of the individual benefits the whole team.
Training is always an evolutionary path, insofar as personal enrichment represents an evolution, an improvement in one’s private and professional life.
By attending an evolutionary training course, in a short time one can learn many things about oneself: understand what is the spark that drives one to do one’s job in a certain way, analyse the values one believes in and one’s aspirations for the future, evaluate one’s colleagues and the people one surrounds oneself with, establishing which are the most suitable to realise one’s dream of personal and professional improvement together.
To understand the importance of evolutionary training, it is necessary to do important introspection work, but at the same time also to have a clear and complete picture of the differences between individual work and team work, in order to assess how one is currently moving between these two spheres.
Following an evolutionary training program means asking yourself many questions about yourself, starting with the most important one: why do I do what I do? In other words: what are the reasons, the situations in my life that have led me to do things the way I do them?
Only by answering this first, fundamental question, is it then possible to examine other basic questions, such as what goals one sets for one’s private and professional life. Evolutionary training is thus a useful tool for defining a vision for one’s existence, from which one identifies the results one intends to achieve.
An indispensable role in evolutionary training is also played by values: each of us is guided by a set of reference ‘moral rules’ that guide our actions, leading us to behave in a certain way. Applying the values we believe in in our daily lives, at home as well as at work, is very important to affirm our personality in the different contexts in which we operate, acting with transparency and consistency, two fundamental virtues in the private as well as in the professional sphere.
An evolutionary training course is also useful to explore an indispensable aspect of any business activity: the target market.
We are accustomed to hearing – and using – this expression in a very generic way, translating it as ‘target market’; however, within a training path, the target market is much more than this: it is about understanding not only who the ideal customers are, but also those whom the individual worker, thanks to his or her competences, skills and abilities, is able to attract the most, and those whom he or she wishes to interest, two categories that do not necessarily always coincide. This is why it is important to open a focus on one’s own target market, to ensure that personal expectations and desires then correspond to the actual goals that one achieves.
A final, very important point when speaking of evolutionary training concerns the operational tools useful for defining and building an effective network of contacts: if it is true that the relationship must always be placed at the centre of one’s evolutionary path, even in the professional sphere, then cultivating relationships that are fulfilling not only from an emotional point of view but also from a professional one becomes indispensable. However, building a network of contacts is not easy: it requires time, dedication and a profound knowledge both of oneself and the goals one pursues, and of one’s interlocutors, in order to assess lucidly and rationally which relationships can actually lead to enrichment.
Taking a training course does not only mean acquiring notions, but participating in a real training course, where those who train us in the classroom share insights, tips and useful tools to improve one’s work starting from oneself and from a new self-awareness of one’s goals and capabilities.
Following a coaching program for business therefore means being able to look more deeply, thanks to the support of an expert, within oneself, to discover how unlimited one’s potential is and thus succeed in improving one’s life and work: only by acquiring a greater awareness of one’s talents will it actually be possible to achieve the growth objectives one sets oneself. Just as it happens in sport, where the coach is a reference figure, a guide, but at the same time someone who believes as much in the individual as in the group, knows the individual differences and peculiarities as well as the potential of the team as a whole.
Attending a customised training program also allows you to unlock your potential, gaining new tools to face the challenges, both personal and professional, that arise every day with greater awareness. Whether it is managing conflict, learning to see it not only as a negative aspect but also as an opportunity for growth, getting to know one’s own and others’ main behavioural styles, or learning how to manage time more constructively, thanks to training all one’s dreams and expectations can become reality.
